Is this on ply, 1.mm thick and can i sand it down without hitting a whit sheet? How opaque is it?
This celluloid sheet is a single ply, with the pattern going all the way through the material. However it is sanded you will therefore always see the pearloid pattern, and won't ever hit solid white.
Is this the same material guitar picks (plectrum) are made of?
It sure is :) Genuine, original cellulose nitrate. We offer a range of thicknesses which correspond to the usual pick thicknesses, great for making your own.
