Cast acrylic (PMMA) is the premium grade — manufactured by casting rather than extrusion, which gives it superior optical clarity, better machining properties and higher resistance to crazing. It laser-cuts cleanly, polishes to a glass-like finish, and won't yellow over time like cheaper extruded alternatives.

Sheet sizes range from 98x98mm samples up to 600x400mm and larger. Thicknesses from 1.5mm to 6mm depending on product. Popular uses include pen making, knife scales, jewellery, guitar pickguards, model making, signage and architectural features. Prices start from under £2 for sample pieces.
