Wood Carving Supplies: Tools, Wood & Accessories

Wood carving tools, carving timber and the bits and pieces that hold a carving project together — supplied from our base in the Royal Forest of Dean, which we admit is a fairly appropriate place to sell carving stock from.

The collection covers carving knives, gouges, chisels and detail tools from BeaverCraft and Flexcut, plus the consumables that make a difference to the work: sharpening stones and strops, finishing oils and waxes to protect a finished piece, and safety gear including cut-resistant gloves. For timber, we keep Lime (basswood) in stock as a standard — it's the species most carvers and whittlers learn on, because it cuts cleanly in any direction without tear-out.
